Beyond the Forest

There’s a place beyond the forest green,
Where time caresses the sun’s expose’,
Unfolding the ebony of long-forgotten dreams.

Occasions lived in the moment,
Always flowing with devotion and harmony,
These are the epochs of sweetest bliss.

The Maccabi swims in a sport-like fashion,
The great blue heron in midnight flight,
The hunter and the hunted; neither knows delight.

Where does one escape beyond the forest green?
Where time can heal the troubled wound,
Of long-forgotten dreams?
